Minor irritations twice a day on the metro...
The Unborn poster and its sculpted, airbrushed razor-buttocks...
The V for Victory campaign by Nike, which while pleasing on the eye thanks to choice of sportsman, does risk offending the many Brits, Aussies and Kiwis in the city with the two-fingered salute...

Sunday sunday...
This week was world food in Montparnasse, drinks in St Sulpice, a mariachi bar in St Germain, fire-in-your-belly cocktails in Bastille and new bathroom walls. It was yoga, dozing, Northern Lights and sushi. The rugby we will gloss over.
It was also a sunny walk on Saturday morning, and a stumbled-upon community charity called L'Interloque, which takes old stuff and either resells it in their junk shop next door, disposes of it, or upcycles and customises into cool stuff for your appartment. The people who work on the pieces for the gallary shop are all in need in some way and a few finds have already found themselves on pink milk vintage and I think the full length mirror made framed with glossy tyre treads may find its way onto the new bathroom wall. Now I also know what to do with several old mobile phones which are taking up valuable centimetres of our 38 metres squared.
