sunny morning find

Pottering on a Saturday morning after coffee, I found an orgnisation which takes old stuff and either sells it or makes it new. This luminous bangle was in the resell area, along with two little sky blue laquer bangles and a red magician's scarf set to appear on pink milk vintage soon...

Can I hack it?

Probably not.

Have been looking for the perfect headboard to go on a grey/blue wall, in a room with aubergine wallpaper and curtain (singular rather than plural as window bigger than last appartment). Grey or duck-egg blue will disappear, but don't want aubergine to look to matchy-matchy. Perhaps a pattern? Could I really make my own headboard like this lady on Appartment Therapy without injuring myself or my flat?

Provins

A well-earned break in Provins, a medieval UNESCO world heritage site town an hour or so from Paris between Picardie and Champagne. Windy streets, gourmet restuarants and quaint little shops selling local silverware and handicrafts were the perfect antidote to a grey Paris and veyr long week.

Crisp sunshine, delightful off-season for fresh air and winter walks...
