Provins

A well-earned break in Provins, a medieval UNESCO world heritage site town an hour or so from Paris between Picardie and Champagne. Windy streets, gourmet restuarants and quaint little shops selling local silverware and handicrafts were the perfect antidote to a grey Paris and veyr long week.

Crisp sunshine, delightful off-season for fresh air and winter walks...

A country house shall one day be ours...

A warm welcome at the Demeure de vieux bains, a luxe chambre d'hôte with a choice of suites, rooms and gîtes and transfer to and from the station at speed over the cobbles in a yellow and black 2cv...

Breakfast in a sunny billiards room...

And beautiful grounds...
