Thank you Etsy for the pretty poster sketch tool, with which I have just spent a happy ten minutes.

He could breathe underwater because he had amphibious nostrils... the camera batteries are dead and I can't post anything on Etsy and made a lovely necklace today and I need to re-do photos anyway because they're not very good and I'm annoyed and so I put on Mr Scruff. Feed my fish.

A season full of rival anniversaries - John Galliano celebrating ten years at Dior as the label clocks up sixty, Christian Lacroix ringing in twenty years and Valentino ditching Paris for Rome as he plans the party of all parties for the 45th anniversary of his fashion house - was always going to involve retro frocks and the words 'in hommage to' gracing just about every catwalk report going.
